General Warranty Provisions
MicroAire Surgical Instruments, LLC will provide warranty and extended warranty repairs during the applicable warranty period in accordance with the terms, conditions and limitations designated for each product offering.
Standard Warranty
MicroAire surgical instruments are guaranteed free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, except in the case of refurbished endoscopes which are guaranteed for 90 days.
During the warranty period any product found to have a defect in material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer. All other expressed or implied warranties are excluded and MicroAire shall have no liability for incidental or consequential damages.
Extended Warranty
Extended warranty plans are available directly from MicroAire. The plan will provide comprehensive protection for new or used MicroAire instruments and all components, after the standard manufacturer’s warranty expires.
This Extended warranty provides comprehensive coverage with a one-time premium payment. By purchasing an extended warranty, any repair will be covered at no additional cost.

Length of Term
Warranty plans can be purchased for terms of 12 months and can be renewed for up to five years beyond the original date of purchase.

The cost of MicroAire extended warranty plans are tiered, based on the product covered and the age of the instrument. Note that extended warranty plans can be obtained with the purchase of new equipment. For specific pricing, contact your local MicroAire independent sales agent or contact MicroAire directly.

Restrictions
Some MicroAire products are ineligible for an extended warranty. MicroAire reserves the right to void any warranty in the event of abuse, misuse, disassembly, alteration, neglect, unauthorized repair, tampering and/or non-compliant use as defined by the operating instructions provided. Warranty plans are non-transferable. Equipment more than five (5) years old is ineligible for an extended warranty. Equipment age is based on the original purchase date. Equipment is considered “new” when it is less than 12 months from the original purchase date. Equipment is considered “used” when it is between 12 and 60 months from the original purchase date. Please contact Customer Service at (800) 722-0822 with the serial number to determine equipment eligibility and receive Return Materials Authorization procedure. Warranty claims may not be filed within 90 days of plan purchase. MicroAire Return Materials Authorization (RMA) procedures must be followed for all warranty and extended warranty product returns.
