this position oversees the instrument assembly process and focuses on
continuous process improvement for optimized quality, speed & cost.
This team player/team builder must have a disciplined approach to achieving
results & a conceptual/creative mind for problem solving. Must be
effective & experienced at managing personnel through change and have
the ability to plan, implement & lead projects from concept to completion.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred. 3-5 yrs exp. in
a leadership position in a manufacturing environment required. Exp. in
medical industry is preferred.
SUPPLIER
QUALITY ENGINEER
This position works with suppliers
to identify and help implement process improvement opportunities to improve
component/material costs and lead times. Is a liaison between engineering
and the supplier to identify key areas to modify specifications in an
effort to improve manufacturability and maintain or improve reliability
of MicroAire's products. B.S.
in scientific field, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer required.
Min. 5 yrs. exp. as Quality or Manufacturing Engineer required. Must have
thorough understanding of cost effective manufacturing methods while meeting
required specifications. Ability to plan & implement projects from
concept to completion essential. Knowledge of the design of mechanical
components & subassemblies a plus.
PRODUCT
MANAGER
Develops and executes marketing
plans and programs, both short andlong range, to ensure the profit growth
and expansion of company products and/or services. Works closely with
Surgeons, Sales Representatives, Healthcare professionals, and other Departments
in initiating new product concepts, prototype evaluations, product enhancements
and product development. Requires a BS or BA and a minimum of 3 to 5 years
experience in Marketing, preferably in the Medical/Surgical field, plastic
surgery or orthopedic experience a plus. MBA and 1 to 3 years related
experience preferred.
