June 4th, MicroAire joined the UVA Foundation and other local companies in supporting a 5K Walk/Run fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project uses its funds to provides programs and services for severely injured service members. MicroAire raised $2,500 for the cause with employee contributions and company match.

In April Operations was given an offsite lunch in celebration of their success with the Value Improvement Program (VIP) during 2010. Operations generated 140 submissions for an aproximate savings of 824K with the participation of 59 employees.

The MicroAire Men’s Basketball team finished 5th out of 12 teams in the Albemarle County Park & Recreation Men’s Basketball League this year! They put up an excellent game right to the last, losing in double overtime in the semi-finals.
